Project Background

The massive Gateway residential apartment block project in Leeds has been developed by Shepherds Construction- the first two phases of 256apartments in phase one and two have been completed. A car park was required for the apartment blocks underground in two plant rooms.

Smoke Control’s Involvement

Smoke Control became involved with this project through Haden Young, Goodmarriot and Hursthouse. Smoke control liaised with Rosedale Building Services during the initial design of the apartment blocks. Following Smoke Control’s design input we were successful in obtaining the order to supply, install a uniJet car park ventilation system.

Smoke Control’s Solutions

A car park was required in the two plant rooms of these residential apartment blocks. The unijet solution provided 24 jet fans, and provided the best value solution for the job.
