A South Wales-based smoke control systems company has filled three newly-created positions as it continues to expand.
Smoke
Control Services has appointed Lisa Williams as financial controller,
Rebecca Protheroe as Service Manager for its Easivent range of smoke
control systems components, and Matthew Thompson as Trainee Project
Engineer.
The company operates from its base in Tredomen, north
of Caerphilly, and supplies leading blue-chip housebuilders with
one-stop-shop smoke control and ventilation solutions for their
apartment block developments across the UK.
Lisa Williams has
worked in accounts since leaving school. Starting as an Office Junior
and working her way up, she is experienced in purchase ledger, sales
ledger and payroll, and in 2004, qualified as a member of the
Association of Accounting Technicians.
Rebecca Protheroe started
working for civil engineering company Costain in 1992 as accounts clerk
and has continued in accountancy since then. Before joining Easivent,
she was Financial Controller for a supplier of educational resources.
Matthew
Thompson joins the company’s team of project engineers as a trainee
after two years with Braces Bakery Limited, where he worked on
efficiency improvements and IT projects in several departments
including despatch, distribution and sales.
Managing director
Allan Meek said the company operated in a dynamic sector. “With the
continuing popularity of apartment living in cities across the UK, we
are a growing business the Lisa, Rebecca and Matt will be taking on
important new roles that we’ve created as we continue to expand,” he
said.
